Mrs. Somers and Mrs. Fugate teach 8th Grade English Language Arts, which is the study of the English language through reading, writing, listening, and speaking. In this course, students will use a variety of informational and narrative texts to increase reading and comprehension skills. Students will write narrative, informational/explanatory, and argumentative texts to improve vocabulary, syntax, and the development and organization of ideas.
