Boys Soccer Spring 26:
We are glad you have shown an interest in trying out for soccer at Loftis Middle School. Tryouts will take place on February 2nd and 3rd from 2:30-4:15.. Tryouts will take place on the Loftis football/soccer field. The 2026 Boys’ soccer team will be selected and announced at the end of tryouts on February 3. Please fill out the Tryout Form so that I know who to expect on February 2.
Each day at practice you should wear shorts, a t-shirt, shin guards and cleats. Also, please bring your #5 soccer ball to practice. And always bring water! All personal items should have your name and phone number just in case they get misplaced. If you still need to get these items, please only go out and purchase them once you have made the team. If you make the team, there is an $85.00 team fee. The fee is to help cover the cost of uniforms and team T-shirts, and to maintain the fields at Loftis. In addition, there is a price of admission at each game, to pay for the officials. This is a county-wide policy and the price is set by the County. The admission fee will be taken at each game, both home and away.
If you make the team, please be aware that the coaches will decide about playing time. In school ball, we play to win. There will be a set of “starters” chosen by the coaching staff. This group will see the majority of the playing time. We will try to make sure all players get a chance to play, but we can NOT guarantee each player will get in every game.
