Art News

Hello Loftis Students!

I am so happy to announce that we finally can resume our DESTINATION EXPLORATION!
The date scheduled is: OCTOBER 22,2022!
Destination Exploration is an opportunity for students to meet monthly at a different place of interest for an afternoon or morning of photography lessons, meet with friends and share lunch. I have planned this so students have the opportunity to see things and have a chance to make an electronic  portfolio of their works.
We will meet at Coolidge Park 10/22 by the Carousel at 8:00 AM.  The theme is The Golden Hour and we will learn how to photograph reflections from water.
We will conclude by 12:00 Noon.
Bring your camera, any kind, and a battery pack or extra batteries. Include a snack, a jacket and please wear a Loftis shirt to identify ourselves.  Also bring some money in case you want to stop for lunch, too!
Everyone who is a Loftis student or Parent is welcome!
No dues, no GPA, and you don't have to be in art class, just an interest in photography.
NOTE: Those in Student Council and Beta Clubs may be interested in using these photos for your competition. When one Loftis student wins, we ALL win!
Please remember your best behavior... if there is a problem, I will need a number to reach a parent or guardian to pick up the student.
Please come by, sign the sheet on my door, room 313 and take a permission slip so I may have emergency information for each child.
I can't wait! We will have a great time!
Keep tuned in, I am working on a year long schedule for our Photophanatics!
Ms. H
